Chef Dennis Foy is preparing a special Butcher Block for Father’s Day featuring three premium meats: filet mignon, rack of lamb and sirloin, all served with a side of vegetables. In addition to the Father’s Day special, D’floret recently announced the start of their Sunday Brunches, with a menu ranging in price from $11–30. Brunch dishes include Chilled Cucumber Salad with shallots and tomato confit, Faro Island Salmon with creamed spinach and nutmeg, Cajun Chicken with Pomme Frites, classic Eggs Benedict and more.

Morton’s will present a special two-course menu for Father’s Day. The Land & Sea Menu offers a choice of Center-Cut Filet Mignon, Double-Cut Pork Chop with apricot chutney or “Manhattan Cut” Strip Steak. Each comes with a cold-water Lobster Tail baked in herbed garlic butter. Dessert options include Key Lime Pie, New York Cheesecake with sea salt caramel and Morton’s Hot Chocolate Cake. $79 per person; make reservations online.

Meat is the star here. The Father’s Day “Butcher Box” features two pounds of Bell & Evans Cut Wings, two Hanger Steaks, one Porterhouse, Four Burgers, two pounds of Sweet Italian Sausage and two Pork Chops. One-time specials at this Thai-inspired eatery include Shrimp Dumplings, Softshell Crab with papaya salad and Paradise Fried Rice. Kai Yang’s regular menu features eats such as Vegetable Curry Puffs and Massaman Curry, made with potato, onion, carrot, pineapple and crushed peanut. On the sweet side of things, you’ll find Fried Bananas, Fried Ice Cream and more.

Four City Brewing Company
If Dad is a beer buff, Four City Brewing has got just what you need. Their Father’s Day gift basket comes with a mix of four pints, a Four City T-shirt and a custom glass, all for $45. The four-pack is comprised of the brewery’s signature IPA, Oat Cream Man (a tribute to late guitar legend Eddie Van Halen) and the Citrus City Pale Ale, named for the city of Orange.

The Garden Restaurant & Lounge
Inspired by Latin American flavors, The Garden specializes in creative and modern dishes. This Father’s Day, however, chef Adrian Leon is going classic. On the menu is an Iceberg Wedge Salad ($17, with tomatoes, bacon and crumbled blue cheese dressing), a Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail ($24), Salmon Tartare ($18, with red onion, capers and creamy avocado on garlic toast), Tomahawk Steak ($85, in a mushroom demi-glace with garlic baked potatoes) and Filet of Sole ($40, stuffed with jumbo lump crabmeat and paired with cauliflower-spinach au gratin). Dinner can be enjoyed with a specialty Bourbon flight for $30. As for Dad’s dessert, it’s on the house.
