This is one of the better crate pads I’ve purchased. Most of them are really flimsy and require something additional under them to really provide cushioning, especially if you have a pet who’s been run over and had extensive reconstructive surgery (she’s doing great though!). It’s easy to throw in the washer to clean and maintains its shape after multiple washings (I purchased a smaller size so a larger one might not fit in a regular machine). I don’t put it in the dryer though: it’s made out of quick-drying materials so I just clip it to a hanger and let it air dry. Wish it came in more colors but I’m satisfied.
We adopted our fur baby in September. We didn’t know exactly what he would like to sleep on. We had never had a Border Collie before. We bought an expensive bed, which he soon destroyed (within a couple of days.) We bought him a different type of bed thinking maybe he would like it. Again, he chewed it and destroyed it. So we went with a completely different design of bed that is raised with metal brackets and a “sling” type construction. He wasn’t interested. So we finally found this bed. The price was great, so we decided to give it a try and figured if he destroyed it, we were out of options. He loves this bed! He is a power chewer, but so far, has not chewed it at all. He now looks forward to going in his kennel at night. He sleeps in his kennel beside our bed because he was getting up and destroying things when he was not in a kennel. So happy with this purchase!
